Moonrise over Redwood City

Mosaic of 13 unprocessed images taken 2001 Oct 31 from 5:25 to 5:55pm; Canon EOS D30, Canon EF 100-400 L IS at 400 (640 effective), f/5.6, ISO 200, various speeds from 1/15 to 1/320 sec plus one image taken about 8 hours later at f7.1 1/800 sec. The Moon's altitude varied from just touching the horizon to 6 degrees for the first set and 55 degrees elevation for the last one (note different rotation). Notice that the horizontal image size remains the same while the vertical size varies by more than 10%. (click for larger version)
